The Premier League has confirmed its live fixtures over the Christmas and New Year period following the winter World Cup.
England’s top flight will break after the weekend of November 12/13 to accommodate the tournament in Qatar but will return on Boxing Day, with seven live games on Amazon Prime including Aston Villa vs Liverpool (5.30pm kick-off) and an 8pm London derby between Arsenal and West Ham.
Nottingham Forest’s trip to Manchester United is another 8pm kick-off on December 27, while Leeds face Manchester City at the same time the following day, before Liverpool host Leicester on December 30 in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
A live double-header on New Year’s Day will see Wolves welcome Manchester United to Molineux, before Brighton host Arsenal.
Other games selected for television broadcast in the first week of January include Arsenal vs Newcastle on January 3 and Manchester City’s trip to Chelsea on January 5. Further TV picks for January are still to be confirmed.
The Premier League has also confirmed several amended dates and kick-off times at the start of 2023 to help recovery times between match rounds 18 and 19.
